Eligible active and retired longshoremen who want to transfer medical plan and/or dental plan coverage for the Welfare Plan Year starting July 1, 2007 must sign up during the open enrollment period May 1 to May 31, 2007.

Note:  In addition to the May annual choice period, eligible active and retired longshoremen may change their coverage once at anytime during the Plan Year.

Choice forms for medical and/or dental plan choice, with applicable enrollment application, must be submitted to the Benefit Plans office in May to ensure notification to the medical and dental plans before July 1st.

Choice forms and enrollment applications are available upon request from the Plan office or ILWU Locals.
